WHAT TO EXPECT FROM WORKING WITH ME

BEFORE YOU COMMIT

Before diving into specifics there’s one thing I’d like to make clear right from the beginning. It’s really important to me that all clients understand my approach and what is expected from them before they sign up for 1 to 1 support. I highly value the energy, connection, trust and mutual commitment between me as a therapist and my tribe; therefore I invest a fair amount of free time into communication before any real work starts. This way you have enough time and insight into my approach to be able to know whether or not I’m the right person to work with.

So what exactly do I mean by “communication”?

I ask you to fill in a detailed questionnaire. Yes, admittedly it can take a little bit of time but trust me it’s still a great tool which helps me to understand your background & personal story & current situation so I don’t have to bombard you with questions in the actual session and I can jump straight into action. Although I still ask some questions because I care :)

Once completed, I take a look at your answers and write down a rough personalised strategy plan I share with you. Only then you can decide if you wish to sign up or not. No hard feelings or strings attached. My approach might not be everyone’s cup of tea and that’s totally fine.

YOU’RE IN IT TO ENJOY THE JOURNEY

The Hormone Reset Programme consists of four sessions in total (usually spread over the period of three months) as well as additional support in between (including weekends in case of “emergency” such as sudden complications or symptoms). If you’re new to such journey we start slow and build up. If you’ ve done some homework already and need “the next level guidance” we design more advance strategy fitting your personal needs.

Regardless where you start my aim for you is to feel benefits & see results. By the end of the programme you’ll understand and experience the power of:

  • Anti-inflammatory diet

  • Liver support for hormonal balance

  • Gut support (boosting gut functions & bacteria)

  • Stress resilience

  • Intermittent fasting

As a part of the process I also encourage you to invest into a laboratory testing which not only reveal the exact levels of all female sex hormones and their active metabolites (think of them as subgroups) but also provides valuable markers for stress hormones, B vitamins among other key nutrients, and neurotransmitters (mostly responsible for the way you feel, think, behave and see the world). The golden standard nowadays is the Dutch test which only requires an urine sample and it’s good to go. So completing the test is not mandatory; however it helps us to design even better protocol in order to correct underlying causes to your hormonal imbalances. Also, based on the test results I feel more confident in suggesting specific

  • Supplementation

  • Herbal products

WHAT’S NEXT?

From my experience, three months are usually long enough to find your rhythm & understand what works for you and what doesn’t. Remember your body is as unique as you are. There’s no one approach to all of us. Being in tune and paying attention to what your body is telling you is the most important skill you’ll have by then to keep you on the right track going forward. More often than not I develop strong connections with my “graduates” and always love to keep in touch. I’ll also invite to join the Pretty Balance support group where you can inspire and empower other women with your own personal story.

If for whatever reason you wish to continue with 1 to 1 support I’m happy to provide further commitment and support until we figure out what’s causing and contributing to your hormonal imbalances. Again, every woman is different and every body heals at different rate. Plus, sometimes life happens and you find yourself taking a step aside as a result. That doesn’t mean a failure, it’s just an adjustment to a situation. Most importantly this is not a race or competition. It’s about taking one step at the time.

Please, get in touch, ask questions, leave comments below or share with your sisters and girlfriends if you feel I provide support they might benefit from. Thank you.

Take care
